Over the last few weeks, we’ve been writing about Builderfest. Today is the day! Here’s a sneak preview of each of the houses you will visit.
The first home is 9616 Kruse Avenue built by Deprez Custom Homes. This beautiful home has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a three-car garage. The kitchen has granite counter tops, a gas stove, and stainless steel appliances. Jim and Kimberly Deprez take great pride in the homes they build and ensure quality work with a hands-on approach that begins with framing the house.
Next door at 9624 Kruse Avenue, built by Fowler Custom Homes, all of the modern amenities are wrapped in a great package. This home has five bedrooms, three bath areas, a three-car garage, and first floor laundry. The basement family room already has all the wiring and speakers in place for a home theater! Fowler prides themselves on their quality craftsmanship and excellent custom service.
In the middle of the block at 9632 Kruse Avenue is Medallion Custom Homes. Modern meets rustic in the design of this home. Coffered ceilings in the living room are juxtaposed with rustic barns beams in the master suite, kitchen, and dining areas. Ted Scott and John LeFevre began building in 2003, and they like to work outside the box when designing homes.
At 9648 Kruse Avenue is a home by MPI Construction known for their luxury, fully-customizable homes. Each one is a one-of-a-kind home. The home features an open and airy floor plan with a two-sided fireplace and top of the line finishes. Warm and welcoming, it has five bedrooms, three bath areas, and a three-car garage.
The last, but certainly not least of the homes is around the corner at 8110 South 97th. Built by Denali Custom Homes, this modern style home has a walk-out basement and integrated smart home technology. Benjamin Carey and Sam Schwartz look for bold and beautiful when building a home.
This is a free open house event in south Lincoln. Homes will be open from 1 to 5 PM today and tomorrow, 4 to 7 PM August 10-11, and 1 to 5 PM August 12-13.
