by Rich Rodenburg, Nebraska Home Sales Realtor
Buyers and sellers should always partner with a Realtor. As a Realtor, I am trained, licensed, insured, and experienced in the complicated process of buying and selling homes. My partners, Kim Soucie, Tim Reckling and I have almost 40 years of combined experience in helping clients with real estate transactions.
We have an expert team of support at our office, including our 33 Nebraska Home Sales agents and a team who help with the administrative details behind the scenes. We have the Realtor Association of Lincoln and our Multiple Listing Service to promote available homes. It amazes me when some folks think “this should be easy in this market, I can do it alone.”
We add other partners throughout the process. We can recommend lenders, inspectors and repair companies, title and escrow, insurance, surveyors, and more. These are professionals with whom we have had positive experiences and know they are among the best in their respective industries.
On a typical seller transaction, when we preview a home, we do a Market Analysis (to help set a fair price). We make recommendations to prepare the home to show and sell at its best, including taking care of deferred maintenance that may turn off a buyer (and probably need to be fixed later after inspections). We can recommend handy-man services. We can line up affordable cleaning. We can recommend someone to assist in decluttering, tag/estate sales, and more. If moving elsewhere, we can set you up with a Realtor who is vetted through our Leading RE referral group.
On a typical buyer transaction, we recommend lenders. We help narrow your needs and wants; we help you narrow your list of potential houses. We walk with you through them, and we walk you through the offer and negotiation process. We line up inspections and make recommendations about requests for repairs.
Whether buyer or seller, once under contract, we work with all of the above to assure a timely, stress-free closing.
When you hire us, you are getting far more than our services. You are getting a support system. We can’t do our jobs without them, and neither should you.
